The Club was founded by Farouk Meyer
The Founding Meeting was held in 2009 at Gordon’s Bay, Cape Town, WC, RSA
All members who were present at that meeting are deemed as founding members of the Club
In 2010 the club secured sponsorship from The Lion of Africa Insurance company and in 2018 the sponsorship changed to Brimstone Investment corporation LTD.
Other than the social running aspect of the club, it also has an extensive development programme
In 2013 the club restructured its constitution which was adopted in December 2013 and is the current constitution.
